How to Become a Freemason
People have their own reasons why they enjoy Freemasonry. These reasons vary widely and include:-
Achievement - through progressing through the various offices in the Lodge to become Worshipful Master.
Brotherhood by making new friends and acquaintances from all walks of life, every background and age group.
Charity through being able to contribute to deserving causes, both Masonic and non-Masonic.
Education by learning from peers and mentors by practising ritual and making short speeches.
Knowledge through finding out about the history and mysteries of Freemasonry.
Self Improvement by making a contribution to your family and society.
After reading through the information contained within this site, if you are still interested in becoming a Freemason, we advise that you first talk to a family member, friend or colleague whom you already know to be a Mason. They will be able to further explain to you about freemasonry and help you take the first steps to finding a suitable Lodge.
If you don’t know anyone at all who is a member, then you should contact us and we will happily assist you.
